As a novice personal blogger with hopes of monetizing with affiliate links such as Amazon, a book on the Korea War of 1871 would be of a special interest to me. A pursuit of happiniess according to Thomas Jefferson who used the phrase with his embracing contemporaries could mean “the pursuit of a meaningful life.”  The pursuit “… of a life that provides a person with a sense of satisfaction that what they are doing is worth living for….”

It’s fairly recent my growing up in Seoul Korea was in the 1960s and 70’s and the Korea War of 1871 was an event that dates back further in Korea history that both were worthwhile to remember especially at times of a holiday such as the Memorial Day one of the eleven federal holidays commemorating its national importance for a meaningful day. How and what people yearns for good news values to protect and save and cherish and remember may be the same in a way regardless of age. The Korea War of 1871 also known as the United States expedition of 1871 was meaningful to me in that respect to learn once more.

The old non-fiction journal article was interesting to me when I got across its existance while doing a college term paper some years ago. I liked the way the article was written in a scholarly way. Most balanced and unbiased perspective and narrations in english language were both refreshing and worth reading. The pictures illustrated within the journal article was intriguing and as some asserts with evidence they were probably the very first pictures ever taken in Korea. The objects and sceneries at the moment for the photographer must have been something worth to document in pictures.

More often than not, finding and reading an article on a digital format, now possible and more common among school students doing a homework or a college research paper, were only something for me to get over with quickly and forget about it asap… and move on to next reading and writing…. expectations and demands were sometimes grueling but worthwhile.   Being able to find a book quickly, such as finding a required course materials such as a physical or digital format of a textbook for a several weeks of intense studying were great. I remember I subscribed to Kindle Unlimited for the first time and enjoyed doing english reading assignments with a genuine curiosity and affordability. Catching up with the most useful tech trend while the class had the option of either using an online pdf form to do homework reading assignment or of using the good old paperback of own was a different experience probably with each unique virtue. Finding a book on Prime Reading as a Prime membersip would be sufficient best foot forward as is if the book is available. Kindle Unlimited provides more books similar to school and public libraries paid subscription to digital books and journals and periodicals. .

For me, it’s enjoyable to archive a good story I thought I liked reading several years ago.  Now I am glad that I am able to find one via either googling, at amazon, at ebay, or even at the library. I am happy there are good books to read. I am not particularly recommending this book over others in particular.  Meaning of carta blanca could be many.  A full liberty to someone about something would be just one of them. Best wishes…
