A Comment to “Leave a Reply” on May 17, 2024

I wrote the following comment in the “Leave a Reply” section at the bottom of my May 17, 2024 blog post article called ‘2024 Federal Holidays and How to Prep Amazon Product Contents and Curations in Advance. ‘ I was testing and/or getting familiar with the “Leave a Reply” feature on the website and following up on the Newsly Magazine theme’s simple and crude functionalities.

I wrote this blog post yesterday beginning with using a Quick Draft then later same day just published it rather asap. I wondered if a minimum formalities were there for a presentable blog post article and I spent several hours editing the article. Typos, borrowing words from elsewhere, writing a courteous comment of my own to include were all challenging tasks at hand. I tried to abide with and conform to trade practice of any kind of acceptable blog post writing but mostly still in my guessing and judgment. I use both classical editor and block editor interchangeably. Yesterday, the block editor facilitated the table and list functionality I needed for my article writing. It served well in the beginning. Soon at editing I found however there might be a bug especially when I experienced the prompt cursor were not responding to my keyboard typing at some point in time, jumpy to different places instead making the page scrolling up and down abruptly inducing many unnecessary repetitive trial and errors on my part guessing at what’s going on… a portion of the page was being copied several times at the end of the page unintentionally… had to be deleted carefully. Newsly Magazine theme I am currently using is running WordPress 6.5.3 the most recent. Theme version is 1.7 and it has been almost a year since June 13, 2023, when its last updated version came out. I am probably one of the 400+ active installations. It’s simple and crude, meaning constructed in a rudimentary or makeshift way. Alright. Satisfactory but not especially good or acceptable as such. There is a Premium Edition to “Get All Features…”
